Phil Orwin
BA(Hons), MSc, DMS, FCMI, MIHM, AIIM.
Phil Orwin is a career manager and consultant with significant health sector experience. Since 1995, he has held numerous operational and board-level posts in a variety of commissioning and provider organisations. These include Health Authority, PCT, acute, community, mental health, and ambulance services across London, South Central and the South West of England.
Phil is a history graduate of London University and a former NHS general management trainee. Throughout his professional career Phil has acquired extensive healthcare management experience and has an excellent reputation for delivering financial and clinical service performance targets. His main areas of interests are:
- Operational effectiveness
- Organisational development and change
- Management development
Phil is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, a Member of the Institute of Healthcare Management, and an Associate of the Institute of Interim Management. Phil has recently completed an MSc in management, and is planning to undertake a Doctorate in coaching and mentoring to further develop his interests and practical management skills in this area.
